Nürburgring road is a Formula One automobile racing circuit. The Nürburgring road or race circuit is considered as the grand venue of the European Grand Prix, German Grand Prix and Luxembourg Grand Prix. The Nürburgring road or race circuit was constructed in the 1920s near the village area and gothic castle of the Nürburg in the Eifel. Eifel is situated approximately 70 kilometers south of Cologne and around 100 kilometers northwest of Mainz which is a city in Germany and the capital city of the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Nürburgring road or race circuit track boasted four track configurations, these are provided below-
The 28.265 kilometers long Gesamtstrecke ("Combined Loop"),
The 22.810 kilometers Nordschleife ("Northern Loop"),
The 7.747 kilometers Südschleife ("Southern Loop"). There also was
A 2.281 km warm-up loop called Zielschleife placed around the pits area of the circuit.

The making of new Nürburgring road or race circuit was accomplished in the year 1984 and it was known as the GP-Strecke. The Nürburgring road or race circuit was constructed to fulfill the highest level of safety standards during the automobile race, but the track was looked like a reflection of its older sibling.
