Toyota is a multinational automobile manufacturer from Japan. It is also rated as the biggest automobile manufacturer in terms of revenue and profit in comparison to General Motors. Toyota is the owner of Toyota, Lexus and Scion brand of cars. The company was formed in the year 1937. The company is headquartered in Toyota, Aichi and Bunko Tokyo. There is an arrangement to supply finances to the buyer of automobiles. The company along with Toyota Tokyo forms bulk of the group.

Tokyo’s Toyota has extended the networks in manufacturing in various parts around the globe. In some countries the company is involved directly, whereas in some countries the manufacturing operations take place on joint venture.
During the early decade of the seventies, Toyota got the entry into motor sports market. Toyota won for the first time in motor sports in the year 1975. It was the famous 1000 Lakes Rally of Finland. In the year 2002 Toyota joined the Formula One. Toyota did not enter individually; it was with Toyota team Europe situated in Cologne, Germany. Despite making big efforts the performance by Toyota was not satisfactory. In the year 2004, Toyota recruited Mike Gascoyne to do the repairing exercise as he did it during Jordan Grand Prix and Renault F1.
There was one participant by the name of Jarno Trulli having won some reckoning helped the Toyota team to hold the prestige of being in the second position in the constructor’s championships for some part of the competition; ultimately finished with fourth rank in the championships. Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher are the team’s current drivers.
