2007 Formula One Season

The 2007 Formula One Season is usually identified as the 58th FIA One World Championship Season. This season began on 18th March and it continued till 21st October. Thus, it kept the global viewers engaged for pretty long time. It came to an end after seventeen Grands Prix. The 2007 Formula One Season as won by Kimi Raikkonen, the Ferrari driver. The 2007 Formula One Season has got a special significance as it marked the end of Concorde Agreement that used to exist between Formula One constructors and Bernie Ecclestone. This action was taken on the basis of numerous disagreements of FIA and Ecclestone with Honda, Mercedes- Benz and BMW related to various financial or technical issues of Formula One.

The disagreements reached such a serious state that these car making companies threatened to boycott 2008 Formula One Season. So, it was really necessary to solve the problem as early as possible for a better future of Formula One. Let us take a look at the teams and drivers who participated in the 2007 Formula One Season. Fernando Alonso represented McLaren, Nick Heidfeld represented BMW, Alexander Wurz represented Williams along with Kazuki Nakajima, Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli participated with Toyota, David Coulthard and Mark Webber represented Renault and Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa drove for Ferrari in 2007 Formula One Season.



The 2007 Formula One Season witnessed the participation of numerous constructors and some of the major ones are McLaren, Renault, Ferrari, Honda, BMW Sauber, Toyota, Red Bull, Williams, Toro Rosso, Spyker and Super Aguri. And, on the basis of these constructors, we have the teams like Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, BMW Sauber F1 Team, Red Bull Racing, Panasonic Toyota Racing, AT and T Williams, Honda Racing F1 Team and so on. New car launches include Toyota in Germany, Ferrari in Italy, BMW Sauber in Spain, Honda in United Kingdom, Williams Toyota in United Kingdom, Renault in Netherlands etc.
